South Carolina Aquarium

Do you love the water and learning about the animal life it supports? Then the SC Aquarium is the perfect place for you to spend a day. Here you can see the fresh water fish and land animals like otters, turtles, snakes, and birds as well as sea animals like the shark. The 330,000 gallon Great Ocean Tank has large viewing windows which allow you to get "face to face" with the creatures of the sea. There is a Touch Tanks with horse shoe crabs, orange sea stars, purple sea urchin and Hermit crab anemones. Or, you can visit the Secrets of the Amazon exhibit you will find unique animals like the 4 eyed fish and the poison dart frog.

Patriots Point Naval Maritime Museum

Splash Zone Waterpark at

James Island County Park

you love the water? Then head to 643 acre Splash Zone Waterpark where you canride a 200 foot tube slide or open slide, run and play with the slides, wheels and sprays of the Caribbean play structure or drift along the 500-foot lazy river. The Lazy River has sprays and a waterfall to add to your enjoyment. You can relax in the leisure pool or on the lounge chairs as you sip a drink from the concession stand.
