Devil's Fork State Park Visitors Guide
Named for Devil's Fork River, this state park nestled in the South Carolina
Blue Ridge is a favorite of outdoor devotees. Here
you can have the benefit of paddling, scuba diving, swimming,
or fishing for brown trout, rainbow trout, white bass, smallmouth
bass, largemouth bass, bluegill and black crappie in the
7,565 acre crystal clear mountain lake. Hiking trails, like
the 1.5 mile Ocean Belle Nature trail or the 3.5 mile Bear
Cove Trail, are easy to moderate and afford a spectacular
view of the cascading waterfalls. There is also a playground,
picnic shelters and camp sites available for overnight visits.
