Edisto Beach State Park Visitors Guide

Situated on the remote Edisto Island outside of Charleston, the Edisto Beach State Park is an enticing get away, whether if just for an afternoon, a day or for several days, there is much to be enjoyed. This scenic park has campgrounds and rental cabins so you can take your time meandering through the live oak forest and sea marsh. There is a four mile nature trail bordered with towering palmetto trees where you may see white-tailed deer, osprey, or alligators, and possibly catch a glimpse of the evasive bobcats, or you may choose to go surf and marsh fishing for flounder, whiting, spot tail and other species.

On the park's western side you will find boating and an ample beaches where you can go beach combing. There are picnic pavilions as well as a playground.
